About the ACT Test | ACT
Brutus and Cassius. This pathetic rivalry induces the deaths of both Brutus and Cassius. Brutus uses rhetoric to persuade the crowd of plebeians that the murdering of Caesar was positive and beneficial to all of Rome, winning their support and causing them to join his cause. Soon after, Mark Antony gives a terrifically-persuasive speech that he claims. At the funeral of Julius Caesar Mark Anthony and Brutus both give dynamically, zestful, energetically, bold, impassionated speeches about Caesar's death. However, both speeches are passionate for different reasons regarding Caesar's death. Brutus fervently defends him and the conspirator's motives for assassinating Caesar, but, Anthony delivers a heartfelt speech mourning the death of his beloved comrade and bashes Brutus and the conspirators.
